The future is made up of the cumulative outcomes of our actions today.
ACTION PLAN 2021-2025
A holistic vision in the face of an ever-changing scenario.
The new 2021-2025 strategy of the Ludoil Group foresees a profile of hydrocarbon production in progressive growth until reaching a plateau by 2025, which will follow a decreasing trend mainly in the oil component. Faced with a scenario that goes through structural changes, our investment portfolio has proved, once again, flexible and resilient and opens the way to a constant growth that puts us, already today, among the most dynamic independent players in a mature and consolidated sector.
Transforming our business model is the real challenge ahead. The 2021-2025 Action Plan is strongly oriented towards creating value for all our stakeholders, combining economic-financial, social and environmental sustainability. Based on these principles, we are differentiating and expanding our activities in renewables, strengthening the Ludoil roadmap towards total decarbonisation planned by 2050.
DRIVERS OF DEVELOPMENT
The new strategy is based on 4 key pillars:
The four-year plan provides for a significant development in the storage and distribution of energy products. In particular, we will invest in supply-sales, wholesale, retail, bunker, aviation and bitumen with volumes of about 2.65 Mton by 2025 compared to 317 kton in 2020.
An important contribution to achieving the objectives will come from the partnerships and the entry into new markets, as evidenced by the latest acquisition - by our holding Luce - of the company Raco s.r.l., which enables us to enter biomethane from OFMSW.
To support our decarbonisation objectives, we decided to use the Group’s capillarity to combine the renewable energy business with the retail business. The integration will allow us to increase the offer of services, charging networks for electric mobility and green energy.
Minimizing the Group’s environmental impact combines economic sustainability with industrial implementation. We will minimize the carbon footprint of our activities to reach the UN SDGs, generating value for all stakeholders.
We aim to grow in renewables to accelerate the energy transition.
The expansion of the green business is entrusted to Luce, the new holding company of the Ludoil Group. Luce represents a cornerstone in our decarbonisation strategy and a fundamental step of the transformation underway in Ludoil. We have planned investments of over 1,2 Billion Euros in renewables, which will allow the green sector to have an EBITDA higher than that of the oil sector by 2025.
Networking and integration in the retail business of biomethane from OFMSW
Development of utility scale photovoltaic parks for a power of 1.8 GW.
Integration in the retail business of more than 1000 AC and DC electric charging columns.
Construction of over 150 MW of wind farms worldwide.
Development of new technologies for the production and marketing of green hydrogen.
Global Goals for Sustainable Development.
The 2021-2025 Action Plan is a concrete step that we have started to contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals that the UN has signed up to in a major action programme. These objectives clearly address the conduct of our activities and the transformation of our business model.
